It started early at the age of 4 when she started hitting the notes with the guidance from her 1st guru, her mother, Smt. Dipali Sarkar. After rigorous training for 11 years in Gitabitan, Kolkata, she went to Shree Sadhan Ch Roy & Shri Sunil Chattopadhyay for her classical training and simultaneously learnt contemporary music from Shree Jatileshwar Mukhopadhyay. But her musical tutelage didn’t end here. She groomed herself beautifully in Jazz music too from Mr. Carlton Kito and now is a vocal artist, singing in Hindi, English and Bengali with equal prowess.
